Grupo Guadalupano

The main purpose of The Grupo Guadalupano is to honor Our Lady of Guadalupano as the Mother of God and the "Empress of the Americas". To do this the group has taken charge of her feast day celebration (December 12), keeping alive the traditions and faith of our fathers. During the year, the Group holds a monthly sale of "pandulce" (sweetbread). The proceeds help pay for the celebration and for two $500 scholarships given to Senior students of Latin descent from Leuzinger, North, or Lawndale high schools. In Spring a dance is held as a fundraiser. In Summer a picnic is held for the sole purpose of making community.
Meetings: The Group meets the second Sunday of the month, 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
